I watched the Super Bowl, and I saw the Budweiser commercial that made fun of the Craft Beer scene. Unlike many, I found it to be funny, in fact I found it to be very funny!
I was not surprised when my social media feeds started blowing up with people in my circles who are craft beer loyalists. There are a ton of different wines out there. Many mass produced to the point that the wine is synonymous with price and/ or consistency. The pleasure of my job is when I get to enjoy wines that are focused more on the nuances of the grape, and the character of the wine maker. When I am able to find the quality at a price that is lower or evenly priced with less inferior wines that are out there, I consider those gems, and it is one the best things about my job. In tasting through some of the Vina Robles portfolio, I am delighted with the wines, and ecstatic about the prices.
